Thanks, Chester! I'm looking forward to another fun stream tonight. I hope this early start time isn't too much of a pain for the locals, because it sure is nice to have a West Coast stream that ends before 3 am back East!

Thanks for driving the bus, Chester, I'm happy to be a passenger tonight. I really like that geographic area around the show, so I want to share a few of my favorites.

The Eagle Creek Wilderness offers pleasant hiking and the sights and sounds of waterfalls such as Punchbowl Falls. Some of the more adventurous Furthur fans may be there right now. I was planning to go, but economic reality came along and prevented friend from providing transportation. It's too late in the season to pick those little tiny strawberries on the Eagle Creek trail, anyway. Huckleberry Heaven, across the Columbia River, on beautiful Mount Adams (the forgotten volcano) has passed its peak, but the huckleberries are probably still plentiful. We'll feel more of that energy from the earth as the stream fills our homes with it tonight. Hey now! How about an Aiko opener?

Thank You Jerry

Punch Bowl Falls is quite possibly the most photographed waterfall in the entire Pacific Northwest. This is the waterfall responsible for the descriptive "punchbowl" being associated with waterfalls. The falls were named due to its unique shape, resembling a ladle being dipped into a large bowl.

I'll probably miss the first set. I'm heading into the city soon to see David Byrne give a lecture on How Music Works. Hope fully I'll catch you all for the second set.

Nope. He remained upright, and moving. Tonight should be a little more energetic, and with a great stream.

Come to think of it, in Seattle on Tuesday night, Bob proved that he is a creature of habit as he walked to the center stage slot only to find John's gear there. We speculated that he walked over and shared this moment with Phil, but that may have been the moment of the audible to "Victim or the Crime," or possibly the mistake led to the amendment of the set list.
